ADVISE consists of three elements:
- Air Force Feasibility Interviews and Researching Markets (AFFIRM) – This program, is based on the NSF I-Corps curriculum and has been adapted specifically for the civilian scientific and engineering (S&E) workforce developing solutions for the Air Force. Learn more about our training here.
- ORTA training. We train technology portfolio managers from the Office of Research and Technology Applications in viewing technologies through multiple lenses that extends and goes beyond standard Technology Readiness Levels.
- Participation in the annual Technology Scouting Workshop hosted by Innovation Node – Los Angeles (IN-LA). This day-long program, co-hosted by the Dow Chemical Company, Vulcan Investments, and the National Science Foundation, attracts keynote speakers from Adobe, Boeing,DoCoMo, Google, M34 Capital, Pasadena Angels, and many other world-class innovators. Teams that complete IN-LA courses may present to these speakers.
